5 Fantasy Sleepers

Well, its a new record...

With the addition of a league that is with members of our Wednesday morning networking group...I am now a part of 4 (pause for dramatic effect) fantasy football leagues.

Sadly, I've never won one, so I'll just keep joining new leagues until I do. Gotta help my chances right?

I've started reading magazines and researching players, so here are five fantasy sleepers I'm keeping my eye on at drafts later this month and early September. These are guys that may be undervalued by your league's opponents.

1) Matt Hasselbeck-QB With the arrival of TJ Ho..(sorry its late, not looking up the spelling of his last name) and a healthy Nate Burleson and Deion Branch, MH has plenty of weapons from a fairly recent Super Bowl team. This team also gets a soft schedule because of their lousy record last year.

2) Felix Jones-RB Before tearing his hamstring, Jones had a sick YPC average. (Who doesn't remember him breaking one against the Packers in Week 3???) He's a great injury handicap for Marion Barber, and is a dynamic player that can bust off long runs in the Cowboys killer offense.

3) Eddie Royal-WR This is the case of where one guy can benefit because another is an idiot. With star Brandon Marshall doing anything to get out of Denver, Royal becomes the default #1 target for new QB Kyle Orton. Expect the Broncos to be better than expected under new coach and offensive genius Josh McDaniels. They also get 2 games each against league doormats Kansas City and Oakland.

4) Jermichael Finley-TE Ok, I need to put a homer player on here. Finley isn't the starter...yet. But he has great size and above-average speed in an offense that likes to use the tight end, sometimes multiple ones depending on the set.

5) John Carney-K Carney is the new Saints kicker after Garrett Hartley was suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. He kicks in a dome for an offense with Drew Brees. What more do you want from a late round pick?
